Curriculum Pathway

Our goal is to equip First Responders with the necessary skills to utilize Uncrewed Aircraft Systems in their everyday operations – big or small. We’ve structured our courses and curriculum in modules, so that any module can be taken at any given time. Take a look at our curriculum and see which courses or track is right for you.

Certification

There are no pre-recs to take any of these courses as our goal is for the First Responder to be able to choose which course or module suits their needs.

To Be Certified

In order to be certified, you must complete all of the courseware associated with the track & certification you are seeking to achieve in order to receive your certification in each respective area.

FOUNDATIONAL

These are the basic courses that all public safety personnel will be required to take.

Curriculum

  • Part 107 License (to be submitted in student portal)
    ASSUREd Safe will not be offering Part 107, this is to be submitted by the student as a pre-rec.

AGENCY

Public Safety

The objective of these courses is to equip participants with essential skills for operating UAS within a designated public safety agency. Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded the ASSUREd Safe Pilot Public Safety certification tailored to that agency.

OPERATIONS

These courses will delve into the intricacies of advanced UAS components, exploring operations, tactics, techniques, procedures, and best practices. They are designed to equip participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills beyond the basics, enhancing their proficiency in UAS operation within the public safety contexts. After successfully finishing the program, participants will receive certification as an ASSUREd Safe Operator.

COMMAND & CONTROL

Equips participants with the tools to enhance situational awareness, streamline decision-making processes, and optimize resource allocation in the face of various emergencies. For Command & Control Level Courses, The ASSUREd Safe Foundational and Public Safety Tracks are not a requirement to have as a pre-rec but is highly encouraged to be taken in addition to the administration courseware.
