How Training Is Designed
ASSUREd Safe delivers Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) training focused on operating within the National Airspace System for emergency response, preparing and increasing operational readiness of first responders and public safety communities to implement UAS capabilities into real-world operations.
Training allows for structured progression from foundational knowledge to applied, scenario-based activities, as well as technical applications. Some courses focus on foundational knowledge and preparation, while others include hands-on, scenario-based applications where learners plan, execute, and evaluate UAS operations in realistic environments.
Instruction emphasizes hands-on practice, guided application, technical competency, and realistic scenarios to support consistent, effective performance in public safety environments
How Training Is Delivered
ASSUREd Safe training is delivered through multiple formats, each serving a distinct role in developing operational capability.

Development is informed by collaboration with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as industry partners. These stakeholders help identify needs, shape training focus, and inform ongoing improvements, while also providing subject matter expertise, operational insight, and, where applicable, support for training development and delivery.
This approach ensures training remains current, aligned with regulatory frameworks, grounded in how UAS is used in emergency response operations, and continuously refined based on operational feedback and training outcomes.
